"Shadows in the Sibling"
Prompt: Fandom Horrid Harry Prompt: Peter knew others thought him and Henry didn’t get along. Which was true and untrue at the same time. Sure, Henry taunted him, but he also snuck him sweets and let him sleep in his bed after a nightmare (with much grumbling of course). Peter remembers the rare times he screwed up, and each time Henry would angrily hiss at him to go to his room before Mum and Dad came home. All he knew was that he was never scolded for his mistake, and Henry seemed quiet and reserved afterwards. Henry never talked about their parents when they were alone, except for the occasional jab at their clear favoritism of Peter. Maybe the growing cuts on Henry’s arms meant something, but Henry would only scowl and boost about them being from fights from monsters. Monsters. Peter thought grimly, a teen not a little boy anymore, monsters in their home that hurt his brother and was the reason he was helping Henry clean too deep cuts on his arms in the bathroom.
