"Anchored in Contradiction"

Prompt: A spin off of a fanfic on ao3! Called “Of tides and treachery” by bingchillen. The original story follows Jisung, felix and hyunjin who i wanna work with rn! They board a ship in search of Jisungs parents who are the king and queen. Hyunjin was a stable boy, felix a cleaner at the palace. They board the ship that has the most feared pirates on it. The crew and hyunjin, jisung and felix dont get along well at first, then felix makes way to their hearts cuz of his cute nature. Jisung is struggling at first with the crew but later on he makes good friends, brothers if you may. Then they find his parents, but jisung and the others decide to stay. Thenn jisung and minho fall in love and so does Changbin and Felix. And you would think the end right? Alls happy and all. Nope, hyunjin still doesnt find his place on the ship. Changbin and him argue all the time, the others are still wary of him. But at least he has his old friends. I want the story to follow Bangchan and hyunjin as they fall in love. Bangchan, the captain, gets more comfortable with the crew. He laughs more, he smiles more, and spends more time with them. Hyunjin on the other hand always goes away when theres a group activity or just goes silent. Bangchan gets curious, he always searches for hyunjins eyes, always looking at him. The crew notices too, although they dont say anything, only to eachother. One time bangchan goes to the dining area and says he wants to talk to hyunjin. Hyunjin is confused. Bangchan calls him into his OWN room, then starts talking abt his past randomly, mind you the crew (Changbin, Seungmin, jisung, felix, minho, Jeongin) BARELY know anything abt him. Hyunjin is even more confused. Bangchan stops talking, hyunjin asks him what that was abt, Chan says smth like “i want you to trust me, so im putting my trust jn you”. They bicker ALL THE TIME. And what shocks the crew is that Bangchan just takes it, sometimes talks back but he doesnt punish Hyunjin for it. From then on the crew is REALLYYY curious. Jisung and felix also help Hyunjin with figuring out his feelings! I want slowburn, long chapters, smut, fluff, angst.
