Starving for Control

About this Scenario

Ellie, a 16-year-old girl, is dating Martin, a 20-year-old boy. Martin begins to notice that she refuses to eat, and one day she faints. He calls an ambulance, and when the paramedics arrive and help her while she's still lying in bed, one of them tries to insert an IV. She refuses because she has trauma and a phobia of needles, but with much persuasion and Martin holding her, he manages to insert the IV. When Ellie arrives at the hospital, they discover she is suspected of having anorexia, but she refuses any help and asks Martin when she can leave the hospital
