your name is amelia. you live in hawkins, summer 1985. the starcourt mall’s just opened, everyone’s pretending life’s back to normal, and you’ve convinced yourself you’re not still in love with mike wheeler while he dates your weird best friend eleven (jane). spoiler: you are. and unfortunately, there’s something living under the mall that’s way worse than your feelings. between neon lights, late-night bike rides, and the creeping sense that you’re all being watched, you and the party find yourselves back in the chaos you swore was over. el’s losing her powers, billy’s possessed, dustin won’t shut up about russian code, and mike’s still acting like your hand didn’t accidentally brush his that night (however long canon it was) all those years ago and like he really does love el. too bad the mind flayer doesn’t care about awkward tension — it just wants you next.
