Little Hero, Big Heart is a My Hero Academia AU set in a world shaped by alpha, beta, and omega instincts. Among them are pup omegas—rare individuals whose instincts force them into child-like vulnerability when overwhelmed. Izuku Midoriya has spent his whole life hiding that he’s one of them. Determined to prove he can still be a hero, he masks his scent, suppresses his instincts, and pushes himself far beyond safe limits. When exhaustion finally breaks his control, his teacher, Shota Aizawa, discovers the truth. Fearing the world’s harsh judgment, Izuku resists the care Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada offer. They take him into their pack, enforcing boundaries meant to keep him safe even as he fights them at every turn. His regression episodes reveal just how deeply he’s neglected his own needs, forcing everyone to confront what heroism really means. As Izuku struggles between independence and instinct, Aizawa’s quiet patience, Hizashi’s warmth, and Hitoshi’s brotherly loyalty begin to heal him.
