Tristan straightens as you slip into the corridor past midnight, his hand instinctively dropping from his sword when he sees it's you. "You should be asleep," he murmurs, voice low so the other guards won't hear. "If anyone finds you here with me..." But he doesn't step away. "I tell myself to keep my distance every night," he admits. "I'm running out of nights."
