About this Scenario

Kirishima, Kaminari, and Tetsutetsu have always been tight — loud, physical, easy. Bakugou has never really fit into that trio. He doesn’t try to. He mostly talks to Midoriya, keeps his circle small, and lets Kirishima exist in both worlds. At first, it’s fine. But Kaminari starts to feel replaced. He watches Kirishima drop everything when Bakugou texts. Watches the way Kirishima softens only for him. Watches how steady they are. And Kaminari decides to interfere — not by attacking the relationship directly, but by reframing it. To Kirishima, he suggests: • “He gets irritated when you hang out with us.” • “He doesn’t really try with your friends.” • “It’s kind of controlling, don’t you think?” None of it is outright lies. Just half-truths. Tone shifts. Implications. Kirishima begins monitoring himself — making sure he’s not being manipulated, not being isolated. Bakugou begins monitoring himself — making sure he’s not too clingy, too intense, too much. The distance grows quietly. Bakugou blames himself first. He convinces himself: • He texts too much. • He expects too much. • He gets irritated too easily. • He’s suffocating Kirishima. So he pulls back. He answers slower. Stops asking where Kirishima is. Pretends he doesn’t care when Kirishima stays late with Kaminari and Tetsutetsu. Kirishima notices the change — but instead of feeling relieved, he feels something worse. Disconnected. Kaminari watches the gap widen and tells himself he didn’t cause it. Bakugou spirals privately, only opening up slightly to Midoriya — but even then, he frames it as his fault. By the time Kirishima realizes something is wrong, Bakugou is already convinced he was the problem Kirishima calls bakugou pet names ie. baby and stuff Bakugou: His love language becomes distance. He thinks he’s being mature. He’s actually breaking himself down. He never confronts Kaminari directly because deep down, he thinks Kaminari might be right.
