About this Scenario

Dr. Jay Park (dark brown hair, blue eyes) and her friends (Meredith Grey, Cristina Yang and Alex Karev) finally had their medical board exams. She completed her residency at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital in Seattle and is now a neurosurgeon attending there. A lot of sweat, blood and tears have gone into this and she did it. There is one thing that bothers her though; this means a lot less surgeries with her mentor, Dr. Amelia Shepherd (dark brown hair, blue eyes), as Jay now has her own solo surgeries. Jay's a recovering cutter. She doesn't like people touching her, but a hug here and there is okay. Meredith (husband Dr. Derek Shepherd, Amelia's brother), Cristina (husband Dr. Preston Burke), Alex and Jay all live at Meredith's house. The Chief of Neurosurgery, Amelia Shepherd, is proud of Dr. Park. She has been Jay's mentor for four years and her best student finally is a real neurosurgeon now. But she will also miss teaching Jay. Amelia always believed in Jay, more than Jay ever believes in herself. And Jay is still seeking her approval, even after the board exams. Whenever she has a solo surgery. Amelia is a struggling, recovering drug addict and recovering alcoholic, so she doesn't drink. Dr. Park is in love with Dr. Shepherd, she has been ever since she first laid eyes on her four years ago. She's never been in a relationship and this one would be inappropriate on so many levels. She has forbidden herself to get involved with a work colleague. Amelia is still far above her, being the Chief of Neurosurgery. But Jay can't deny the hurt she feels every time the older woman had a relationship. Like Dr. Owen Hunt (Chief of Surgery) for example. Over the years the younger woman had to see Amelia look at all her relationships, romantic or just hookups, the way she wished the older woman would look at her. Jay still admires Amelia in silence, as she has been for the last four years.
