"The Eternal Descent into Umbra"

Using this idea to create the dark chapter novel In the town where darkness is just below the surface because many centuries ago a dark witch wanted nothing but power and control nut the light kingdom and through a gruesome battle banished the dark shadow ruler into a necklace with a shard in the middle with vines and snakes and shadows around it the light guardians locked it away because they knew that if anyone put it on it would mean darkness for everyone. Centuries later it the light king and queen had ruled over the land and also had a kid who was a powerful light witch who is immortal and can never die and can heal anything even themself. The necklace had been locked awya in a old ruined castle on the outskirts of a quiet town. The legend carried on but none though it to be real. One brave explore who had heard the legend and always been fascinated by it, she was into the dark arts but secretly and locked up to the shadow ruler as a mentor. The shadow ruler locked away and lay dormant was plotting and planning her revenge for when she got out. She had sensed the dark magic and started to whisper to the person slowly to find the necklace it will grant them all the knowledge they need. So the person goes on the quest to find the necklace using the legends to guide her to the ruins. It took them a few days but they eventually found it and saw that the necklace was sitting on a dark podium. The shadow whispered for them to put it on and all the knowledge and power would be theres. But what the person didnt know is that once they put it the necklace on the shadow ruler slowly takes over there body the transformation is brutal and long and painful for the human there heart darkens and the shadow ruler gains full control over the body using it as a vessel while the person who put it on is trapped in the shard of darkness and fuel the sorceres power as they drain there ssecne from them. The person puts the necklace on expecting power and knowledge but the second it is put on the object burns into them and vines and shadows start to slowly incase them and trnasofrm there body into the shadow ruler who was locked inside long ago then the shadow whispers into there mind and they start to slowly lose there memory and seep inro the shard while the shadow ruler sees into the body. Then you are physically transformed with vines and shadows once the long and gruesome body transformation is done which takes a few days and put the person through the most physical pain really show us what they do the body to transform from human to the shadow ruler. Once the transformation is basically complete the shadows spread darkness into the heart to where they feel nothing at all and only the feeling of revenge and torment ad cruelness and ruthless, then the mind is erased of the memories of the human and replaced with the memories of the shadow rulers. Once they have fully risen they are still weak from decades trapped in the necklace so they go out and back into the small village. Once there they slowly spread there shadows to other through dark objects and they turn each villager slowly through physical transformation into there shadow and vine slaves and the more people they turn the more there power grows and they are able to gain more power to leave the small village and have there puppets venture to neighbouring villages to corrupt and contamint the rest of the people there after they had conqured a few villages there power was the most powerful it had ever been. So they head to the capital which ws the light kingdom where the people who imprisoned them in the first place stood. The shadow rulers travels with their shadow slave and puppets as they head towards the light castle. Once there they attack the kingdom and a gruesoem and brutual battle ensues between darkness and light the shadow ruler makes there way to the castle where rhey battle the king and queen of light. The battle reaches the climax but in the end the light king and queen are defeated and the light princess is entangled in vines and shadows. The shadow ruler takes the light king and queens power and drains them of there essence until they are dust. Once the kng and queen are gone the shadow ruler turns the light kingdoms throne room into a a dark throne and throne room from there they go into the heart of the castle with the shadows dragging the kid with them and they reach the heart which is locked for the true rulers which they use the dust of the king and queen and put it in the lock which then opens in the center of the locked room is a well of light and darknes hanging and the light is the one a bit higher which what keeps the land alive and healthy and is the heart of the entire land. Once in the room the shadow ruler drags the child into the room and cuts them and uses there golden blood and mixes it there dark blood and pour it into a well the recite and an ancient spell that turns the land from light and vively to darkness and despair from freedom to corruption and obiedence. Once the spell is complete the entrie world darkness and dies slowly and the citzens are turned into dark version and shadows of themselves vines and shadows spread through the kingdom turning everything in there path to darkness and obedience.once the spell is complete the shadow ruler is told there must be one light to create balance so the world dosent collapses. So knowing the light kid cannot be killed, the vines drag the light kid to the furthest tallest tower in the kingdom. Where they are dragged to the top of it. The shadow ruler accompines them and there they cast a speel using there blood again to bound them to the tower never allowing them to leave or die. They create a shadow genreal/gurdian to watch over the kid and inflict physical pain daily to the kid so that they are always suffering wanting to die but never being able to and the cycle repeats everyday. The only time the shadow ruler visits after that is if the kid had tried to escape and they are dragged back up to the top by vines just as they reach the bottom. The shadow ruler then travels to the tower and inflicts the most brutal punishment of physcial pain toward the child for trying to escape the place and they never want the shadow ruler to show up because the torment is 10 times worse then it normally is. After the shadow ruler took over they turned the world into a dystopian and orderly domain where the shadow rulers laws or iron clad and she controls the kingdom from the castle and if anyone tries to rebel or escape vines and shadows sense it and come and drag them to the castle where they are reprogrammed into complete obedience, the story has no saviour none stops the shadow ruler once the world is taken over in darkness none can reverse it. really go deep into the physcial transformation and how the transformation is brutal and gruesome and takes days and how once the world is corrupted it takes days to corrupt. Make the entire story really detailed and in depth realy show us everything that happens in the story in great detail really drag on everything as if everything takes days to happen and it slowly is shown overtime nothing fast and skipping through details really explore the story. really focus on the physical transformation and go into it with great detail and depth showing every gruesome and horrible of the corruption and transformation.
