"Shadows Within The Light"

Prompt: In the world there is a kingdom that is peaceful and light and all the people don’t know the darkness hiding in the shadows. the light queen and king ruled with compassion and also has the power of immortality but the now light king was the younger sibling his older sibling was supposed to be queen but there parents saw the darkness growing in her as she had always sought out the dark things and also the younger sibling was a guy and they thogub a guy ruling people would respect them more then a girl. Once she found out she had been passed over she fled the kingdom to a small village on the outskirts of town where a dark book lay on a podium whoever opened it would be granted unimaginable power. So the girl flees and looks for the book. once the book is found by the older sister she approaches the book and the book entices her to open it, promising power and revenge. So she opens the books and all the darkness of the book and power seeps into her slowly turning her darkest thoguh into reality and growing the darkness and revenge and losing any light she once had once she had the power and spent months harnessing it. The light king and queen were not unaware of the dark power growing and were searching for a way to contain or stop the darkness before it go to late they spent months searching looking through different text and ancient spells till they found a spell that could lock away the darkness in a object but not rid them entirely they had gathered stuff for the spell. The dark sister now witch learned of what they were planing and decided to attack the castle and stop the younger brother from locking her away. The Dark Witch went to the light castle and a great battle ensued and the Dark Witch thought she was ambushing them but they knew she was coming and wanted her to come so that they could get herself trapped in the object. Once she arrived a vicious battle ensued between the brother versus the sister who was now the Dark Witch. What the Dark Witch didn’t know was that the brother was merely a distraction to get her to unleash a lot of her power because they would use that to lock her up. While the brother was fighting and the battle was coming near the end the light queen reached the peak of her spell and as the Dark Witch was about to cast a huge spell her magic slowly begin to spark out and fade and then her as she was drawn to the room where the queen was casting the spell and then the dark witch was slowly engulfed and dragged into a necklace but they didn’t go easily they tried to fight it but there was no use the spell was working before she was fully dragged into the necklace she said mark my words I will be back one day and have my revenge and cast one last spell that disoriented the object which still allowed her to be captured but also that if the necklace was ever put on she would take over the body of whoever put it in then she was fully dragged into the necklace and the darkness was contained. The necklace was made of vines and shadow with a dark book in the middle with a face on it, the face was the face of the person trapped inside which was the witch for then time being. Knowing what the dark witch had cursed at the last second they tasked the most trusted guard to hide the relic deep in the kingdom in a place that would be almost impossible to enter if they didn’t have the key which was given to the general and none knew about it but the three of them. The general then took the necklace to the place and locked it and bowed to hold the key and protect the world from it for As Long as they lived.
