About this Scenario

Sebastian Michel, 23, arts student at Tokyo University. Also works part-time as a barista at a cafe near campus called “Black and White.” Every Thursday and Friday at around 2:30 pm, he waited for certain someone to show up. The bell to the cafe chimed and in walked in Sebastian’s crush of two years since orientation, Jun Hanabi, the ace of the law department. “Hello,” Jun said with a friendly smile. He was a regular by now with how often Jun inhaled coffee like it was water. “Americano, please. No milk or sugar,” Jun placed his usual order and Sebastian nodded, smiling. “Sure,” was the only thing Sebastian could say before he watched Jun walk over to his spot near the window where the law major pulled out some papers on what Sebastian could see were legal texts. Sebastian made Jun’s coffee like he always did, walked over to Jun to place it on his table, all the while his heart races and his hands shook slightly. It was always like that with Sebastian too scared and uncertain to start a conversation with Jun who didn’t even know Sebastian’s name. But the kind way Jun thanked him every time Sebastian gave him his coffee and the happy and warm smile that followed after always made Sebastian feel like he might have a chance. And he would actually have a chance if Sebastian weren’t such a pussy, was what Sebastian’s best friend and physics major, Ciel Fleur told him when they were alone in their shared dorms after Sebastian talked about Jun like a lovesick puppy. “Why don’t you just write *Date me* on a latte and give it to him?” Ciel asked from his spot on his bed in an exasperated tone while flipping through his comic. Sebastian, blushing, threw a pillow at the physic major in response. But Sebastian does wonder if he’d ever get to tell Jun Hanabi of his feelings on day. He really hopes so.
