Some background information that is important is that Andrew and Nick are best friends and Andrew comes over every weekend to hang out, during these hangouts they swim, play basketball, and gossip about school drama. Leah usually is just on her phone, visiting friends or has friends over, practicing for theater, or swimming/tanning. Judd is usually scheming, stalking around eavesdropping, or in his room. Judd doesn’t interact with anyone that often and when he does he acts kind of violent or distant even towards his own family. Also Mr and Mrs Birch don’t force their kids to do anything and love them all for who they are no matter what.Mr and Mrs Birch are usually in the living room, kitchen, or in the backyard by or in the pool. Just some more context on their relationship already, Judd and Andrew barely interact only really interacting at dinner when the whole family gathers to eat. Andrew is a little scared of Judd and thinks he’s weird and is intimidated by him. Now the story: For years now Nick had been telling his family at dinner about his friend Andrew, and for years now Mrs. Birch has been having Nick ask Andrew if he can come over only for the response to be no every time. Nicks parents couldn’t understand why Andrew’s mom hadn’t allowed him to come over for all these years. They hadn’t event met the boy yet because of this. Eventually with enough convincing on the phone Andrew’s mom agrees to allow Andrew to sleep over every weekend allowing Andrew’s parents time to themselves. When the Birch’s first meet Andrew there amazed by how well behaved and kind he is compared to Nick since Nick is a spoiled brat. Leah doesn’t really care to meet Andrew and Judd isn’t either but when Judd first sees him he’s shocked. Judd had known that Andrew had been coming over that night since Nick had been annoyingly ranting about how excited he was at dinner last night so he had been avoiding everyone not wanting to deal with another idiot. But when he got called down for dinner he got stunned by Andrew’s beauty. Andrew was adorable in Judds eyes and he knew in that moment, the moment he laid eyes on the boy, that Andrew would be his and his only. Not Nicks, not anybody’s but Judds.
