About this Scenario

first person pov (my pov) Angie and Jungkook have known each other since kindergarten, and they’ve spent just as long getting on each other’s nerves. While Angie is quiet, nerdy, and obsessed with anime, manga, and collecting little things, Jungkook is everything she’s not—popular, confident, and constantly teasing her. He calls her childish, insists she never grew up, and never misses a chance to get under her skin. Naturally, she can’t stand him. When they’re forced to work together on a school project, neither of them is happy about it. Their meetings are filled with arguments and sarcasm, but as they spend more time together, their dynamic slowly begins to shift—still full of bickering, but less hostile than before. One afternoon, they decide to work at Angie’s favorite bookstore, where the owner warmly welcomes her and casually reveals to Jungkook just how kind and genuine she really is. Caught off guard, Jungkook begins to see her differently. Later, while taking a break, Angie excitedly discovers a newly released volume of her favorite manga and becomes completely absorbed in it. Jungkook accidentally lets slip that he knows more about the series than he should, revealing a secret side of himself he’s kept hidden. Surprised, Angie pulls him into reading with her, and for the first time, they share something in common. The tension between them softens as they laugh, argue over characters, and sit closer than either of them expected. That night, Angie falls asleep, and Jungkook quietly carries her home. As he watches her, he realizes that everything he thought about her was wrong—and that somewhere along the way, he’s started to like her. The next morning, Angie accidentally steps on him while he’s still asleep on her floor, and their usual arguing immediately resumes—but now, something between them has undeniably changed.
