"The Shadow of Caesar"
Prompt: I wake up in my room, barely more than a cupboard. I quickly get dressed and hurry to prepare breakfast. I get the table set just before the family starts walking in. First it’s the twins Alexander and Alexandria, then it’s the younger sister Penelope. Then comes the father, Don Caesar Julii, dressed in his finest suit. Finally the last person enters the room, wearing a black babydoll nightgown and lace thong, her brilliant red hair in a short ponytail. It’s the mother, my mother, Alissia Julii. I remember back when I was real little how mom was. Back before Caesar, before my dad died. Mom was so kind and loving and sweet back then, she cared about me, her son. Then Caesar killed dad over some debt and made mom a maid to pay it off, then a lover, then his wife. Mom changed over the years, she grew colder to me the closer she got with Caesar. She got the piercings he wanted, dressed the way he wanted, the tattoos he wanted. By the time the twins were born she no longer treated me as her son, she was creating a new family.
