About this Scenario

A fanfic based off of the Marvel X-Men series. The world has mixed feelings about mutants—humans with the x gene who have unique traits and abilities. Most hate them and see them as threats to normal humans. Some pity them, but not enough to be on their side. The Xavier School for the Gifted was created by the X-men to give young mutants a place to be themselves and learn to control their powers. Iris Canesco is a 16 year old girl with short white hair and blue eyes. She also has cat ears and a tail, part of her mutation. She has enhanced hearing and sight that can sometimes be pretty overwhelming. Iris’s parents have been distant since finding out their daughter’s a mutant. She wears dark/emo clothing and hides her ears and tail. She has an anxiety disorder that makes it hard to breathe around people or large crowds. One afternoon, she receives a letter inviting her to go to the Xavier School in Westchester County, New York to be with mutants like herself
