**A Dark Alliance**
Prompt: I want to write a fanfiction, which is a crossover between Percy Jackson and True Blood. My love interests are: Eric Northman, his progeny Pamela Swynford De Beaufort (who prefers to go by just Pam), and his maker Godric. I am the half-sister of Sookie and Jason Stackhouse, born of a one night affair that Corbett Stackhouse had with the primordial goddess, Hemera. Which means that I’m a demigod with faerie blood. After defeating Gaea, I move back to Bon Temps for a change of scenery and end up getting pulled into the supernatural world due to Sookie dating Bill Compton. When Sookie goes to Fangtasia at Eric’s behest to find out who is stealing money from the club, I go with her and that is how I end up meeting Eric and Pamela (or Pam as she prefers to go by).
The night in Bon Temps was thick with anticipation, a humid blanket that clung to the skin like a lover's embrace. I stood beneath the flickering porch light of Sookie Stackhouse’s quaint home, my mind racing with memories and emotions that clashed like titans. Just a few weeks ago, I was battling Gaea, the Earth Mother herself, alongside my brother Jackson and his fairy-queen girlfriend. The victory had felt exhilarating, but the ecstatic adrenaline had quickly dulled, leaving me with an unsettling emptiness. Now, I was back in Bon Temps, drawn to the mundane comforts of home, yet aware that they were slipping further away with every passing day.
Dealing with demi-god status was one thing, and now the knowledge of my faerie lineage added another layer of complexity. But I wasn’t just navigating my identity anymore; I was grappling with the pull of another world—one drenched in darkness, seduction, and blood.
I sighed, pulling the door open and stepping into the familiar embrace of Sookie’s home. The scent of coffee and fried food danced through the air, warm and inviting. In contrast, my mind wandered to the dark underbelly of Bon Temps, illuminated by neon lights and bustling nightlife—Fangtasia, home to vampires, shifters, and every other supernatural being that inhabited our world.
When Sookie invited me to accompany her to Fangtasia, a palpably electric excitement coursed through me. She was dating Bill Compton, a vampire whose past played out like an ancient tale. Naturally, it made perfect sense to visit the birthplace of all her supernatural troubles to get some answers—and possibly uncover a few secrets of my own.
“You ready?” Sookie asked, her blue eyes sparkling with mischief and curiosity. She was dressed in her usual casual attire, but the way she radiated confidence made her seem larger than life. I nodded, even though my stomach clenched with unaccountable nerves.
As we pulled into the parking lot of Fangtasia, in all its gothic glory, the atmosphere felt charged with something more electrifying than just the wave of vampire stench that rolled out like a haunted sea. I scanned the crowd. Leather-clad patrons, underworld denizens, and curvy waitresses transformed into supernatural beings pulsated with life—and death.
The moment we stepped inside, a chill ran down my spine. The dim lighting lay thick over everything, shadows flickering, and laughter mixing with distant music. The ambiance screamed chaos, excitement, and danger, but part of me craved it like a moth to a flame.
The atmosphere shifted as our eyes landed on Eric Northman—an imposing figure standing behind the bar. His blond hair caught the faint light, turning him into an ethereal being, and I felt the undeniable attraction hit me like a thunderbolt. He was everything stories promised: tall, rugged, and dangerously charismatic.
“Is that Eric Northman?” I whispered to Sookie, trying to catch my breath.
“He’s actually the owner,” she replied, her voice barely concealing her own awe. “But he also has a bit of a reputation for being ruthless.”
As if sensing our stares, Eric turned, his icy-blue eyes locking onto mine, piercing right through me. A smirk carved across his lips, one that promised mischief and danger. He tilted his head slightly in acknowledgment, and my heart raced against the backdrop of pulsing music.
“And who might you be?” Eric purred, a mix of curiosity and intrigue dripping from his voice.
Sookie introduced me, her pride in having a demigod sister evident. But Eric's interest turned solely towards me, his gaze unyielding and intoxicating. Before I could respond, he began to stroke a finger along the bar, a slow, deliberate motion that seemed to underscore the spark of tension growing between us.
“Come closer, my dear,” he beckoned, his tone reminiscent of the dark enchantment I had read about in fairy tales.
Before I could respond, I felt a presence beside me—a vibrant explosion of style and energy that could only belong to Pam. Dressed in a tight black dress that showcased her endless legs, she exuded an air of confidence and sass. “Eric’s not just interested in your lineage, darling,” she said, eyeing me with an appraising glance. “He loves a taste of danger, especially when it comes with an enticing backstory.”
There it was again—the thrill of being pulled deeper into this world. Pam’s bluntness created an immediate bond, one that felt as if we’d known each other through centuries. With her fierce attitude and unfiltered honesty, she was magnetizing.
Eric leaned closer, his breath ghosting over my neck, sending ripples of pleasure through my reserve. “I could use someone with your… particular talents.” He emphasized the last word, the heat of his gaze igniting something seditious in my chest.
Before I could think of a retort or properly process the implication of his words, Godric—the ancient vampire who had turned Eric—appeared like a wraith from the shadows. A stunning figure, both wise and haunting, with the allure of someone who had lived for centuries, he stepped between us, his presence causing the air to thicken. “You have a unique aura, child,” he noted, his gaze penetrating yet comforting.
I exchanged glances with Sookie, who smiled knowingly. I felt the warmth of dual attention, an intoxicating mixture that beckoned me deeper into their dangerous web of immortality.
As the hours slipped by, a bond formed in the flickering candlelight—one woven with secrets shared, the energy of the supernatural world lurking just beneath the surface. Eric, Pam, and Godric shared tales of time lost and battles fought, their laughter echoing through the darkness, mingling with the energy of the countless beings gathered within Fangtasia’s walls.
In that moment, I realized that Bon Temps was no longer a simple, sleepy little town. Instead, it was a threshold—a charming facade that opened onto an expansive and perilous world.
What lay ahead was unknown, but the taste of it lingered in the air, stirring an irrepressible excitement in my veins and leaving me yearning for more. I was ready to embrace this new chapter in my life, and I dared to wonder—could I balance my mortal ties while delving deep into the shadows and seduction of the supernatural? For something told me that my journey had only just begun.
