"Shadows in the Night"

Part 5

That night, Zelda fell into a fitful sleep, her mind still reeling from the conversation she had overheard between Sofia and the High Priest. But as she drifted off, she was suddenly plunged into a dark and twisted nightmare. In the nightmare, she found herself standing in a dark, foreboding castle, surrounded by the twisted, gothic spires of the Nefarian Kingdom. She was bound and helpless, unable to move or escape as she watched in horror as Link and she were dragged before the High Priest. The High Priest sneered at them, his eyes gleaming with malevolence as he began to taunt and toy with Link. Zelda was forced to watch in helpless terror as the High Priest subjected Link to a series of cruel and sadistic torments. First, the High Priest used a dark, magical whip to lash Link's back, leaving him scarred and bleeding. Link cried out in pain as the whip bit deep into his flesh, and Zelda felt a scream building in her throat as she tried to struggle free from her bonds. Next, the High Priest used a dark, arcane ritual to make Link's eyes turn black as coal, as if his very soul was being drained from his body. Link's eyes went wide with fear as he stared at Zelda, his expression pleading for her to help him. The third thing the High Priest did was to summon a dark, shadowy creature that began to claw at Link's face, tearing his skin and leaving him scarred and disfigured. Link screamed in agony as the creature ripped at him, and Zelda felt her heart shattering into a million pieces. The fourth thing the High Priest did was to use his dark magic to make Link's body begin to contort and twist, as if his very limbs were being warped and distorted. Link cried out in agony as his body was stretched and tortured, his limbs elongating and twisting in ways that seemed impossible. Finally, the High Priest used his magic to make Link's voice change, to make him speak in a voice that was not his own. Link's voice became a low, gravelly growl, and he began to speak in a language that Zelda did not understand. The words were like a dark incantation, and Zelda felt a chill run down her spine as she realized that Link's mind was being consumed by the High Priest's dark magic. Zelda woke up with a start, her heart racing and her sheets drenched with sweat. She sat up in bed, gasping for breath, and looked around the darkened room. But as she swung her legs over the side of the bed, she realized that something was terribly wrong. The room was empty, but the bed was unmade, and the window was open. Zelda's heart sank as she threw off the covers and rushed to the window. She looked out into the darkness, but there was no sign of Sofia. A sense of foreboding settled in the pit of her stomach as she realized that the visiting princess was gone. And then, she saw it - a piece of parchment on the bedside table, with a note scrawled in hasty handwriting. "Gone to take care of the Hylian," it read. "You can't stop me." Zelda's eyes widened in horror as she realized that Sofia had taken Link. And then, a shiver ran down her spine as she whispered his name - Link. She couldn't help but feel a thrill of erotic excitement at the thought of him being taken, of him being a "missing link" because his name was Link and he was gone missing. The thought was absurd, and Zelda knew it. But she couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong, that Sofia's plans were far more sinister than she had ever imagined. And as she stood there, frozen in fear and uncertainty, she knew that she had to act fast to rescue Link and save her kingdom from the clutches of the Nefarians.
