**The Uncomfortable Truth**

Part 3

As they sat there, bound together, Zelda's eyes began to scan their surroundings, searching for any possible way to escape or at least understand their situation. Her gaze landed on a computer in the corner of the room, partially hidden by a stack of boxes. She nodded to herself, a plan forming in her mind. "Link, I think I have an idea," she said, trying to keep her voice low. "If we can manage to crawl over to that computer, I might be able to find some information that can help us." Link looked at her, then at the computer, and nodded. "Let's do it." With a lot of effort, they managed to crawl across the floor, their bound wrists and ankles making every movement a struggle. Finally, they reached the computer, and Zelda used her free head to activate it. The screen flickered to life, and Zelda began to type, her fingers flying across the keyboard. After a few minutes of searching, she found an article titled "The Physiology of the Hylian Species." She clicked on it, and a long list of characteristics and traits appeared on the screen. As she scanned the list, her eyes widened in surprise. "Link, it says here that your species has a unique... let's call it a 'personal space' requirement. It seems that your physical anatomy makes it difficult for you to be in close proximity to other beings." Link's face turned bright red as he read over her shoulder. "Ah, great. Just what I needed to know." Zelda continued to read, her voice growing more serious. "It says here that your species has a sensitive nervous system, which makes you more prone to... sensations, I suppose, when in close contact with others. It also mentions that your brain chemistry is affected by physical touch, leading to... unpredictable reactions." Link let out a wry laugh. "I like being called Link, but I don't like being linked. There's a difference." Zelda smiled, trying to reassure him. "I understand, Link. And it seems that your species is typically okay with being touched on the hair, or even having a gentle pat on the back. But close proximity, like this... that's not a good thing." Link nodded vigorously. "Exactly! It's like... my body is trying to react to your presence, but it's not sure how. It's all very... confusing." Zelda's eyes met his, and for a moment, they just stared at each other, a mixture of understanding and embarrassment on their faces. Then, Zelda looked away, her eyes returning to the screen. "I think I understand now, Link. And I'm sorry. I had no idea." Link shrugged, his face still flushed. "It's not your fault, Zelda. It's just... something I have to deal with." As they sat there, bound together, Zelda couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for Link. She knew that he was struggling, and she wanted to help him. But for now, they were stuck in this uncomfortable position, at the mercy of their captors.
