"Rhythms in the Rain"

Prompt: - Fay finishes performing at a local pub at home before packing her stuff and heading to her agency building. - Fay has a meeting with her manager letting her know that she plans on going on a (summer) vacation to her Aunt's/Grandfathers home town. Her manager gives her a hard time over the trip information and lets her know that she needs to be more involved in the "industry world". in which she will be more involved after the vacation. - Fay has an awkward car ride with her father - who isn't exactly involved in her life as much as he should be because he is always busy with work and mainly pays attention to others instead of her - after an awkward conversation with her father which turns into a heated talk. Fay puts on her headphones, listens to a few of the new beats that were sent to her by her producer, and then falls asleep for the rest of the ride. (11 hr ride) - After arriving at Lolo's house, Fay settles down, jokes with him, and catches up. - Lolo tells her about the Town's Annual Fair (in two days) and how she should perform for the town just for the fun of it especially because the same act would be performing for the town and people (specifically the youth) were growing tired of it so it would be great to have something new. - Fay ends up agreeing and Lolo immediately contacts the Towns Board and lets them know the situation as to which they agree to do. Since the Event is happening the very next day the announcement gets made the next morning which gains the attention of the whole town. Fay has last-minute rehearsals with the band and meets Jun (who plays drums). they immediately connect and hit it off of their similar tastes in music. Jun and Fay exchange numbers to hang out together another time since she really doesn't know anyone yet within the town other than her grandfather/ Lolo. - Sadly it rains that night right after Fay's performance, While everyone is rushing to get to their cars/homes, Fay is left soaking wet in the rain to grab her things and is knocked over by someone who is rushing by. Avi ends up helping her to stand up and move out of harm's way. They end up huddled under a storefront tent - Avi can't stop looking at Fay, which makes her uncomfortable and irritated with him. She complains about it, in which he only laughs only making her more upset. He compliments her performance and offers her a ride home. She declines and goes to walk off while the rain starts to slow, he teases her over her forgetting her bag, which he is holding. She comes back to grab her bag from him and quickly walks off but not without him stopping her one last time to tell her that she's really cute. She responds with thank you/a small nod as she quickly walks off blushing. - (cliffhanger?)
