"When She Vanished in the Morning Light"

Prompt: I, my wife Sarah, and our old school friend John are drinking late one night reminiscing about the past. When Sarah excuses herself to go to bed John and I keep drinking. John mentioned how lucky I was to have Sarah in my life. I tell him about the dates I had planned that won her heart. John eventually excises himself and I head up to join Sarah in bed. In the morning something is different, the bed seems smaller and there is no trace of Sarah anywhere.
